RO DBT Tampa skills class offerings are educational in nature and are not a replacement for individual therapy or other mental health services. The RO DBT skills class is available strictly to help guide students in using skills to enhance flexibility, openness, and interpersonal connections. Privacy:
Online RO DBT Skills Class utilizes the following to protect students' privacy:
· HIPAA compliant Zoom for Healthcare Professionals.
· Depending on the notification settings chosen by the student, emails may be sent regarding the schedule and billing.
· All students are expected to maintain the privacy of the other students.
Engagement and attendance:
Students participating in RO DBT skills class will be asked to be active in completing homework assignments and implementing skills outside of class. Students are encouraged to share in class and, at the same time, are able to maintain their own boundaries around what they choose to share. We ask that each member be fully present for their own learning and growth, and limit advice giving or feedback to other members. Dismissal from the RO DBT skills class may occur if a student is not meaningfully participating in activities .
